What is inner tube?

An inner tube, commonly known as a "tube," is a circular elastic tube used to maintain air pressure inside a tire. It is equipped with a tire valve for inflation and to maintain pressure within the inner tube. Inner tubes are typically made from butyl rubber and have the following characteristics:

1. Airtightness: Inner tubes should have good airtightness to effectively prevent air leakage and ensure stable tire pressure.

2. Heat resistance: Inner tubes need to possess a certain level of heat resistance to withstand the heat generated during prolonged operation and prevent damage from overheating.

3. Elasticity: Inner tubes should have good elasticity to withstand deformations caused by tire forces and return to their original shape after pressure release, ensuring normal tire operation and driving comfort.

4. Aging resistance: Inner tubes should have high resistance to aging, enabling them to withstand the effects of oxidation, UV radiation, and other environmental factors, thus extending their lifespan.

5. Minimal permanent deformation: Inner tubes should exhibit minimal permanent deformation, meaning they can recover to their original shape after bearing pressure, ensuring tire stability and performance.

As a crucial component of tires, inner tubes play a vital role in vehicle safety and performance. Therefore, high-quality inner tubes must meet the aforementioned requirements and undergo strict quality control to ensure reliability and durability.
